An introduction to Paid Search and Paid Social digital advertising
As part of Leicester De Montfort Innovation Centre’s 2010 enterprise program, Ann Stanley (MD of Leicester based online marketing agency Anicca Digital) has been invited to present a series of online marketing workshops. The program is designed to help students and Leicestershire entrepreneurs start-up and develop their new business ideas – and is something we are very excited to be a part of.
Ann has already presented two workshops to these eager entrepreneurs, the first one was “An Introduction to search engine optimisation (SEO)”, and the second, “An introduction to Paid Search and Paid Social digital advertising”. During the two hour workshop on Paid Search and Paid Social Ann covered the following topics:
- What is pay per click?
- How to set up pay per click
- Different pay per click platforms
The course also involved detailed case studies on the biggest paid search and social players, namely Google, LinkedIn and Facebook. The presentation also included an important feature on where to go to next for help and advice, and where to get funding to help take the next step.
