Yes, you heard it here first! Google are in the process of developing a new platform which is set to rival ecommerce giants Amazon and eBay. They’ve name it “helpouts” and unlike a traditional ecommerce platform, Google have utilised their powerful cloud service to create a completely unique commerce platform which allows merchants to sell their products in real-time via video.

This is targeted at individuals, small businesses and large business, and unlike the ‘average’ ecommerce platform, location isn’t a problem. The idea is that a fitness instructor in Australia could give a personal one-on-one session to someone in the UK, all by the power of a good internet connection and a video stream. In a nutshell, Google have effectively removed the barrier of location and embraced the internet unlike any other. Plus you will be able to create a profile and supposedly you are able to manage your reputation, scheduling and payments all online.
