Leicester web design and online marketing company Anicca Digital has recently moved into offices in the local Leicester tourism hotspot of Castle View.

With views of cobbled streets, Leicester Castle, the Church of  St Mary de Castro and the original city walls – this must be the quietest spot in Leicester and a haven for tourists and locals alike, due to its rich historical significance.

The past meets the future at Number 5 Castle View

Beneath the listed building at number 5 lies a secret – a dungeon which, based on the vaulted ceiling, may be a few hundred years old!

As part of the complex of the historical castle and church, and its more modern use as a court (18th Century) – finding a dungeon in the basement may not be such a big surprise after all!

Above the dungeon we return to the 21st century, where the web designers at Anicca are busy developing and building new websites for their clients using Anicca’s unique Reflex Content Management System. In addition the online marketing team are using the latest search engine marketing and email marketing techniques to help grow their clients’ business.

This is a real case of the past meeting the future – where such a historical building is being used as an office to develop some of the most modern content managed and ecommerce websites in Leicester!
