By leveraging machine learning, natural language processing, and other AI techniques, businesses can streamline operations, improve efficiency, and reduce human error. AI automation can enhance productivity by allowing machines to perform repetitive or complex tasks, enabling employees to focus on higher-value activities.

Marketers use chat platforms like ChatGPT for various day-to-day activities, such as content creation, social media updates, and email campaigns text creation. Digital marketers also employ such technologies for market research, by generating insights or summarising trends based on data inputs. Platforms like ChatGPT help in brainstorming ideas for campaigns or strategies (ideation), providing creative suggestions based on existing information.

At Anicca, we’ll make you aware when AI technologies have been deployed. If you’re not happy with such deployments, we’re perfectly happy working via traditional processes and technologies. Certainly, we won’t add AI-generated content to your websites, web properties or ad campaigns without your prior knowledge. At Anicca we believe in human-generated value. So, even where we utilise AI or deploy AI technologies, there will always be human oversight and a human editorial process (unless explicitly stated otherwise). We usually prefer to leverage AI for the creation of content, as long as our human content team retains editorial oversight. Of course, you can pay for AI content in isolation and have your own internal editorial team examine the output. However, our content team is digital marketing aware. It’s best to make use of their expertise, to cement keyword inclusions and SEO best practices. AI helps to transmute from-scratch content creation into editorial tasks, but human oversight is still needed.

AI automation and general automation differ in complexity and capabilities. General automation uses predefined rules to perform repetitive tasks without human intervention, making it suitable for straightforward processes like data entry. In some situations, general automation is faster and more efficient. In contrast, AI automation leverages artificial intelligence to learn, adapt, and make decisions based on data, allowing AI to handle more complex tasks which require reasoning and pattern recognition. AI automation can improve over time, making it more versatile and effective in dynamic environments, when compared against general automation which is limited to routine tasks.

In the future, AI will enhance email and marketing automation by enabling personalised campaigns through better audience segmentation and tailored content. AI can already optimise send times based on user engagement, automate content generation like subject lines, and provide insights for real-time campaign adjustments. Overall, AI will make marketing automation more efficient and responsive to customer needs. Of course, AI will always require a human partner in order to determine potential instances of ‘hallucination’.

One of our clients runs an ecommerce store, yet they lacked on-page product descriptions for SEO. The client had access to vast quantities of product data through their Product Information Management (PIM) system. We were able to use that rich product data (per product) to generate a multitude of rich AI prompts. The richness of each prompt was required in order to prevent AI hallucination. We were then able to produce scripts to connect each prompt to ChatGPT via OpenAI’s API. We were able to generate large quantities of product descriptions for our client, though they did require human editorial oversight. This transformed a from-scratch content creation job into a more cost-effective editorial task. This is just one application, highlighting the benefits of AI integration. There are many more.
