Agency Hackers – The Robots are Coming – n8n workshop by Ann Stanley

Ann Stanley showed agency owners how to build a working AI agent live on stage using n8n, the open-source workflow automation tool. Starting with what AI agents actually are (and are not), she walked through the AI adoption ladder, the different types of agents from simple automation to fully autonomous assistants, and then built a “Joke Machine” from scratch: a form trigger, an AI brain (OpenAI), and a Gmail output.

She also covered real-world agency use cases, including content creation workflows, Gmail triage bots, and the “Christmas Cracker” model for AI employees.

The session finished with a look at the Claude ecosystem and how to get started with n8n for free.
