About Darren
Darren joined Anicca in 2009, fresh from a marketing degree at the University of Leicester, and has worked in almost every corner of the agency since: managing advertising accounts, Head of PPC, Operations Director, Commercial and Technical Director, and now Managing Director. He chairs the leadership team alongside Ann and runs the agency’s internal operations.
He has also automated a good number of Anicca’s own processes, and fronts much of its AI training: the 10-day AI course, 2026’s hands-on Claude Code Accelerator workshops with Ann, and the AI on the Frontline webinar on what the agency learned integrating AI into SMEs. Away from work he rides motorbikes and has been snowboarding for around 20 years.

Darren builds much of Armadello’s data plumbing: the nightly Meta Ads ingestion, self-serve GA4 and Search Console connections, and the Connection Wizard that plugs a client’s accounts into the platform.
