Number 1 – www.Lovestruck.com – Management of PPC campaigns for Lovestruck Dating

Lovestruck have a very successful dating website for young professionals. You can browse for free and then you can join the Lovestruck community by paying a monthly subscription. They even offer dating events in London. For anyone in and around the capital you will have probably noticed their ads on the Tube and taxis.

Anicca manages Lovestruck’s pay per click campaigns across Google, Facebook, Bing/MSN, AdDynamo; both in the UK as well as Hong Kong and Singapore. In order to make the multiple campaigns easier to manage, with have invested in Acqusio software, which allows us to set-up, manage and report from one single platform across multiple channels. Gurpreet Bassi who heads up the Numbers team is coordinating this big project.

Number 2 – www.Giving-Back.co.uk – Development and marketing of a new charity fundraising website – built on behalf of the Leicestershire charity Living Without Abuse (LWA).

Funded by a lottery grant LWA have invested in a large project to create a new platform for other charities and organisation to fund raise. We are currently building the site and also responsible for the SEO and future social marketing and PPC (funded by a Google charity grant).

Although other websites already offer a charity fundraising service; Giving-back is unique as there is only a one-off joining fee and allows the organisation to create a mini 5 page website within the main Giving Back site. Similarly fund raisers can create a 5 page event website, also allowing them to charge an entrance fee as well as getting their fundraisers to start collecting sponsorship money. The site has also been designed so other charitable organisations like guides, churches, sports clubs etc can use the service (without having a registered charity number).

The site is in the final stages of the build, particularly the final design of the profile pages and the sign-up process. Pre-launch publicity around the site will start shortly in order to recruit charities and other organisations that want to benefit from the lower fees and additional features.

You can also see LWA’s new website which we designed and developed earlier in the year following the rebranding (they changed their name from Loughborough Women’s Aid).

The project is being managed by a new member of staff – Esther Cameron, who was specifically bought into the new Client Services team to liaise with clients and the Technical and Design teams on web development projects.

Number 3 – www.healthierweight.co.uk – Paid advertising campaigns to increase the leads for patients wanting gastric by-pass surgery

Healthier Weight is one of the UK’s leading clinics providing a range of options to reduce your weight via surgery and other weight loss programs. Anicca are running the paid advertising campaigns; initially this has focused on Google and MSN, but also Facebook and digital display ads (or ad serving), using a mix of techniques including; retargeting, behavioural/Mosaic profiles, and contextual targeting.

Darren Wynn, one of our PPC account managers, is running this project using the Acquisio platform.

Number 4 – Continental Tyres (www.conti.de) – Development of new websites and online marketing for their stockists and resellers

Although we are in the initial stages of this project, we are very excited about our partnership with Continental Tyres to work with them to provide new optimised and mobile ready websites for their stockists. In addition to providing a device responsive design, (which means that the site will look great on Smartphones), we are also upgrading the Reflex CMS, so the companies can log-in and edit the text on the web page without having to go to a separate text manager in the CMS, in other words everything is done from the front end.

This ongoing project is being managed by James Murphy (who has also moved into the new Client services team) and Luke Glassford (who heads up the Words team).

Number 5 – www.theatrepeople.com – SEO consultancy, training and implementation for one of London’s top ticket sellers

Encore Tickets is one of the major wholesalers of theatre ticket in London and around the country; selling through a range of well-known online resellers and travel agents, as well as via ticket kiosks.

They already had a number of established sites selling direct to consumers. However, when they needed to launch their new site with a new brand they needed support on the technical aspects of SEO, creating and optimising content and ongoing credibility building (via link building and social media).

Taking advantage of our “in-house executive service”, (where there is a mix of our senior staff and a recent graduate); we are providing a range of SEO services. Luke and Lucy Crouch (Marketing executive) are working with the team at The Theatre People to create lots of unique and interesting content, as well as guest blogging and content syndication

Number 6 – www.weighttogo.co.uk – In-house executive for Weight to Go to carryout PPC and SEO of their ecommerce site

We have been working with Weight to Go on their PPC since Christmas, focusing on keyword expansion and landing page testing across Google and more recently Bing/MSN. We have generated some great improvements in conversion rates and sales of their delicious diet meals, which are delivered weekly to the door. Gurpreet is managing the PPC part of the proejct.

Also I would like to personally thank them, as having used their program as part of my own diet, I have managed to lose nearly a stone and a half in the same period

Weight To Go has now extended their project to include SEO and ongoing social marketing. They have also taken advantage of the lower cost option of an in-house executive and Luke is now managing Lucy as they start writing lots of new optimised content for this website.

Number 7 – www.ebusinessclub.biz – Developing and delivering new training workshops for the EBusiness Club (part of Derbyshire and Nottingham Chamber of Commerce)

As many of you will know I (Ann Stanley) have been one of the trainers on this free workshop program for many years. However with the recent government cuts and demise of Business Link and EMDA (East Midlands Development Agency); the eBusiness club could only carryout its good work by offering a commercial service, ie paid workshops and breakfast seminars.

Anicca is supporting the eBusiness Club by sponsoring the program – so you can meet us at any of the breakfast briefings where we have a stand. I have also been asked to produce a new series of 4 PPC workshops. These will be a mix of theory and hands-on practical. In order to ensure that delegates attend the right course, they will be streamed, so that beginners can go to the first workshops and then be joined by more advanced users in the later 2 workshops.

I am currently preparing the presentation and notes and it is likely that the first of these will be held in July. The good news that previous restrictions on location and size of company no longer apply – so these excellent courses will be open to delegates from outside of the East Midlands for the first time.

Number 8 – www.boardsdirect.co.uk – Ongoing PPC and SEO for this office supplies ecommerce website

We have been carrying out the PPC for a number of months with another Nottingham based office supplies company called Boards Direct. Having trebled their online income from PPC since October, they were keen to find other ways of growing the sales. We had also provided small but effective pieces of advice on how to improve their SEO, so they have now decided to invest more in their marketing so we will provide a cross-team project to continue to grow their business.

Darren and Luke head up the project with a lot of the day to day work carried out by two executives – Franklin Broni-Mensah (PPC/ecommerce) and David Gerrard (SEO/ecommerce).

Number 9 – www.fresh-cargo.co.uk – New website developed for a fair trade fashion store.

Nottingham based Fresh Cargo came to us to develop their new ecommerce site using our Reflex CMS. Although they provided all the funky designs, we have been able to combine some traditional ecommerce features with some sexy social media add-ons as well as ensuring that the site is very search engine friendly. This has enabled them to get a top 10 position for fair trade fashion within 3 months of launching and double the number of Facebook likes to over 1400. This project is pretty much complete with James and Alex Fowler (Technical Director) just making the finishing touches!
