Greetings all, as one of the newest members of the Paid Media team, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Baz Keshwala, born and raised in Leicester within a somewhat typical migrant family. Having grown up in Beaumont Leys, just a stone’s throw away from Anicca Digital’s HQ, I’m proud to once more be supporting a local business making a global impact.
With few academic achievements outside of a Business Studies Diploma from Leicester College, I have placed great reliance on self-study as a means for career development. Prior to Anicca Digital, I was fortunate enough to work with some leading businesses within the fashion industry. This gave me the ability to apply myself and use a mix of both creative and technical skills, all of which has put me in good stead as a Paid Media professional.
Having followed Ann for several years, I joined the company after spotting a LinkedIn post on one of Anicca’s Bootcamps. It was very peculiar in that it welcomed applications from older individuals and career changers. Perhaps this is a testament to the inclusive and progressive culture at the heart of the organisation. Living in a time where every business boasts a culture of inclusion, the entry criteria for most white-collar professions succeeds in excluding people like myself and many others. Being such corporate anomalies and thought leaders within the digital marketing space, working at Anicca Digital was an obvious choice for me!
Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, playing card games, scrabble and chess. I also love learning new skills and am currently spending weekends studying Full Stack JavaScript and Blockchain development. I have a keen interest in all things tech, particularly the way in which technology can improve people’s lives and key processes within a business.
