The Greyhound Inn based in Lutterworth, Leicestershire, were looking to rebuild their website in order to reflect the beauty, ambience and quirkiness of the hotel. So they contracted Leicester web design agency Anicca Digital to design and build them a new website using their Reflex content management system.
The new Greyhound Inn website features some stunning photography particularly in the big rotating headers and in the gallery section and many more user-controlled features.
Features and functionality of the new website
General features of the website from the Reflex content management system (CMS):
- Content management system for creating new pages (Page Text Manager)
- Menu manager for adding or modifying navigational links in the menus (Menu Manager)
- Ability to upload different images and files, such as pdf’s (File Manager)
- Creation of contact forms (Form Manager)
- Ability to view stored customer data eg customer details
- Integrated WordPress blog, with SEO and social media plug-ins
- Site search using keywords

- Database of images displayed in the gallery
- Integrated Google map
- Book a room call for action on every page
- Testimonial database – with some testimonials displayed on homepage
- User-control of images on headers on every page – with rotating images on home page (without Flash)
- Integration with Trip Advisor so customers can leave a review
- Inclusion of social media icons and “follow me”
- Additional footer menu for inclusion of links to SEO pages
