So here we are again! Our conference and Expo season is well and truly upon us, and this week we’re in London at the very sophisticated Internet Retailing 2012 Conference (Tuesday 9th October). The event focuses on three key streams – customer, connection, and commercial – bringing together industry leaders, thinkers and strategists presenting keynote speeches and leading thought provoking workshops throughout the day.
Ann Stanley, Anicca’s MD is showcasing her skills and knowledge in her own workshop called “What’s new in Search Marketing and How to Maximise Traffic to your eCommerce Website”.
Ann’s knowledge of the eCommerce and conversion optimization field will be put to the test again this afternoon when she’ll be leading one of the afternoon workshops. Her talk addresses issues like eCommerce solutions for online businesses as well as the online retailer. Ann also looks at how Google’s recent updates such as Panda and Penguin have had an effect on search, as well as social media’s effect on the success of an eCommerce site.
The presentation also highlights the necessity of organic traffic for online eTailors, alongside methods which are tried and tested, to bring you a higher rate of conversions through both organic and paid search marketing.
The workshop takes you through an A to Z of eCommerce marketing looking in particular at traffic sources, goals and eCommerce conversion tracking. It’s definitely not a show you should miss out on if you’re an online retailer, or if you want to know more about what digital marketing can do for you.
